Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I had a limit of 3 lakhs of cc account in a bank. Bank was deducting insurance money every year without informing me since last three years. They use to give me a statement which shows deduction money as insurance charges. They didnt even told me that in which insurance company, they did the insurance. This year, a robbery of 2.5 lakhs happened at my shop on 6 dec 2010. On that day my account was in running condition and on asking the bank for insurance, they told us that they have not done insurance this year and money was not deducted from my account. Later, the same year, they deducted a sum of 3700 rs from my account without any information on 17 dec 2010 as insurance money. So, who is responsible for the loss of robbery money and how can the money be recovered?
