Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Loan Account
Hello Sir,
My loan account was in a bank(1) which was closed and transfered to bank(2) as per the laters sugetion. The condition of this transfer was that, bank(2) will settle my account in bank(1) & continue the same with their bank at a lower rate of interest. But I had to pay a huge amount in addition to what bank(1) paid to bank(2) for closing the account there.
Secondly, loan was issued to me on the basis of my regular & timely repayment of my previous loans, irrespective of my age.
The due date of my ECS is on the 15th of every month, now due to placing of irregular ECS by bank(2), i.e: placing ECS before date has created bad record to my name & hence I am not being granted any further loans.
Further, when the loan was transfered i was granted a CASH CREDIT facility. I received the pin for CC with in few days but it has been more than 6 months i have not received the card yet.
On the basis of the above mentioned points, I want to claim damages from the bank.
Please, comment.
