Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Some month b4 due to some financial problem i made a stop payment for a cheque and bank confirmed that this chq was stooped. but which got bounced few days later.i gave the dealer the balance sum amount later . When asked to return my bounced chq, the dealer excused himself with that of losing it. can the dealer take any legal step against me? how would deal with this problem?

how you paid the cheque amount to dealer. did he give u a receipt. see a lawyer to build your defence.
