Legal Question in Banking Law in India
One of our party gave us cheque which bounced. We send him legal notice through regd post but it came back to us with comments such as closed, shifted etc. What should we do now. Plz advice

Sand him the notice at the correct address. You can send the notice through email also.

If it has been sent to the address earlier given by the party, you can just post a letter under certificate of posting immediately and within 15 days of the next day of posting, the limitation of one month commences. You can file a complaint to the Magistrate. In the meanwhile, try to find out the drawer's new address by enquiring from his office, if he is employed or otherwise from neighbours to enable you to serve him with summons.
