Re: Patta land

Mere patta alone cannot decide title of the holder of the patta. Enquire as to how the patta holder got the land. Check up with Municipal/village authorities as to who pays the revenue. Consult a lawyer with all the documents and information provided by the patta holder. Merely on the basis of patta alone, you cannot have the land conveyed validly by the holder of the patta and it will not be possible to get a loan based on the same only.
