Legal Question in Banking Law in India
a person has taken cheque payment from me for sale of sites and cheated me. later he has given cheques for repayment but he ha no money in his account. i gave cheating complaint to police and he has been arrested and in custody now. can i get details of his bank statements from his banks where my cheques have been encashed. can i get this information from his bankers based on FIR registered against him.

You can request the police who have registered the FIR to get the details.They can alone under Sec.91 of the Cr.P.C. Get the documents from the bank.
