In personal loan default can police call and ask for recoverry

Police cannot take any action for default in repayment of personal loan. But if you were sued for cheque bouncing in magistrate's court and if you have not appeared inspite of service of summons, the creditor can seek first bailable warrant with which the police can arrest you and produce you in court
