Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Private Bank mein 10,000/- se saving bank account PRIORITY khola. Priority account mein minium 1-Lakh hona chahiye . Lekin 3 month ke period mein bhi mein jab account mein 1-Lakh Deposite nahin kara saka to bank ne average amount se kam amount hone par charges 1000/- deduct kar Liye. iske baad meine bank employee jisane mere ghar aakar account khola tha se contect kiya to usne without my knowledge account ko priority se SBEZE mein convert kar Diya. Kya bank without my request mere account ka status change kar sakata hai. please told me

They cannot change the status of the account without your consent. give notice to the bank chairman. If you don't get redress, complain to the banking Ombudsman of the State within which you hold the account. The procedure for such complaint can be found in the Reserve Bank of India website.
