if you are unaware of procedure don't risk as limitations has to be very strictly complied with for filing the case. pl approach local advocate for issuing legal notice etc

send a notice within one month of bouncing of the cheque and then file a complaint within 45 days of issuance of the notice. you may hire a lawyer to do the needful.
