The defendant should seek apology for non-payment and request for payment by easy affordable instalments without penal interest. The defendant should not forget that he has received money from the plaintiff and he is liable to pay him back.
If the defendant considers himself in the place of plaintiff, good sense may prevail upon him and he may consider making payments honestly.
