Legal Question in Banking Law in India

i have recived the summon from the metropolitian megistrage under section 138 ni, i want to know what can be the result if i fails to be on that date, or if i attend the date what i have to do, since i am not in a position to pay the money to the bank which i took from it. so looking for some serious feedback.

If you will not appear, court can made you PO and then bail will not be possible without your arrest and you have to stay behind bars/in jail for about a month. So better to defend this case.

even if you not able to appear on that day, you need to hire a lawyer and he will file exemption on your behalf. in case you want to appear, you just need to seek bail from the court as it is a bailable offence and you will not be arrested provided you satisfy the court with sureties.
