Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I am having Savings Account with Indusind bank .I have received cheque from LIC of India wherein they have mentioned one wrong account .Can I deposit my check with undertaking given to the bank

If the account no. mentioned in the cheque is wrong, you can request your bank to credit the same to the correct account, undertaking to indemnify the bank. If the Bank is not acceptable to this course, you have to send back the cheque to LIC and request them to issue a fresh cheque with the correct account no. or no account No.
