sec 138
i have lended some amt in cash to one of my friend what it seams is that he differing the to pay i had an blank cheque from him which i have deposited in the bank am sure it will not get cleared i even dont know weather cheque is stopped or not so what can be done to recover the amt? can we sue him to recover please suggest some solution to recovwer the amt

Yes we can sue him.
You may contact a local lawyer and start process with a notice under the NI Act.

You may first raise a demand and may later file a suit for recovery. The proceedings u/s 138 may also be initiated.
