Legal Question in Banking Law in India
section 4, 5 and 20 ni act
. in section 4 and 5 of negotiable instrument
act certain person and certain amount is written and in section 20 it is
written that wholly blank instrument can be given, now I want to know what
is the meaning of certain person and certain amount , when these should
be certain at the time of issuing of the instrument or at the time
of presentation for payment of the instrument or any other time?

When a chequue is issued blank - issuer of cheque is giving 'implied' authority to the receipant of cheque to fill the details including amount
