Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I have shares and accounts on my maiden name as well as my married name. Do i need to change the surname from maiden to married in all the shares and accounts Or can i own shares that have my maiden name on it.

as such there is no problem in keeping them as it is but it is advisable to get all your documents in one name as it may create problems at any later stage. there is no unified sharing of information in government departments or anywhere else in India therefore its better you use one name only . . it can be maiden name or married name.
