Legal Question in Banking Law in India

Sir, i was one of the contract officer who left the SBI after working there as for more than 4 years. At the time of resignation/leaving the organisation we were told that there is nil chance of absorbing the contract officers into permanent cadre. Now the bank has permanent all such officers on a single spot.Is there any legal right for absorption permanently in the bank for such persons who left the organisation recently by resigning the organisation.

make an application by personal delibery or by registered post acknowledgment due to the concerned Local Head Office Chief General Manager, submitting your service details, the circumstances under which resigned, request him to consider your case for permanent absorption and for a response within a fortnight of the receipt of the application, with copy to the concerned Staff Union's General Secretary. If you don't receive a response or receive a negative response, file a writ petition in the High Court within whose jurisdiction, you live or left the job, mentioning inter alia, that it is discriminatory for the Bank not to consider your application favourably. Consult a local lawyer with exposure in labour matters.
