Legal Question in Banking Law in India
sir, my friend borrowed the money from me by giving the postdated cheque, but till now he didnot give me the amount but the time of cheque passed, now the cheque is not valid, but what should i do now? plz help me.

Demand him by sending him a lawyer's notice by registered post acknowledgment due to pay the money he owes to you with interest @18% citing that the cheque he gave was not presented owing to his oral request, within 15 days of the receipt of the notice. If he fails to pay, file a suit against him in the civil court.
