Legal Question in Banking Law in India

Sir

I worked for State bank of India as an Officer-Marketing & Recovery(OMR) for more than 1 year and half, and resignated from services due to my personal problems after serving SBI for 1 year and half, and my resignation got accepted by the management .In our appointment letter it was clearly mentioned as a contract job for 2 years. While doing resignation we contacted the Officers Association for asking any chance for permanent absorbtion, they told me that the chances of permanent absorbtion of OMRs is NIL.But the SBI management had decided to absorb the OMR who are in service for permemant absorbtion as JMG-I officers. Do i have any chances now legally, for asking me to consider for the absorbtion now

as you already have resigned, you may not get the permanent job.
