Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Sir,
Two years back, my husband got a loan of 3,00,000 from a private financial person and issued my cheque as security. Before one year, he told me that he settles that loan. But at that time I did not ask him about the cheque. But now on feb 22 that cheque has been presented in my bank and got bounced. Some other person issued me a legal notice regarding the cheque bounce. But I did not know the person who send me the notice. But he stated in the notice that six months back I received 3,00,000 from him and gave the cheque to him. I have to send a reply to him. Before going to a local lawyer. I need some advice from you people regarding how to solve this? What are the chances of winning this case?
