Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I am told by my housing loan company that my cheque bounced and I immediate issued a fresh cheque. But they refuse to part with or show me my bounced cheque for me to verify what exactly was wrong with it. Is this a right practice on part of the housing loan company?

well you should have issued the new cheque and taken the old bounced cheque back. The company could not have retained the old cheque with them

You may demand back the bounced check as also the memo issued by bank giving reasons for returning your check.
