Legal Question in Banking Law in India

very urgent

i was in a great need of money 1 yr back then i had taken the money bfrom one of the local financer,who has taken a blank signed cheque from me .and after one year he files a case against me with 4 times extra amount which i actually paid but i don't have any proff to show that.sir please help me out i am very much diprased now,even i don't know the person who filed the case against me,he is a third person ,not the person to whom i gave the cheque.

Engage a lawyer at the place of prosecution and defend the case on the ground of the cheque being a forgery and that you were not indebted to the man who has filed the complaint.
