Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I withdrew Rs 4,000/- from SBI ATM at RK Puram on 31 Mar at 10.48.03 hours and my account balance was Rs 51,000/- plus. Just after 66 seconds i.e. 10.49.09 my account has again been debited for Rs 20,000/- which I did not draw.
I approached SBI RK Puram, New Delhi but they states that another person behind you might have drawn it, however, my ATM Card + my receipt for Rs 4000/- was all with me when I left the ATM. I did request for CCTV Footage but it is not available with the Bank. I did try again for transaction, if it is possible within 66 seconds but didn't happen.
Bank is not in a position to help me out. I wish to know what are the legal procedures to sue Bank and who are the willing lawyers. My email id is [email protected]
Regards
Panna
