Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I am working with a bank, one cheque has been passed in clearing, the cheque was from a single account but was signed by account holder, and also by her wife, who was not account holder in that account, nor any mandate holder. Does any liability arrise on me or bank.

As long as there are no cancellations or alterations and it bears the signature of account holder, there should not be any problem; irrespective of additional signature or writing.

When the account holder has signed the cheque your / Banks liability ends.
dear client....If the account is single then how can you clear the cheque with two signature... bank shall be liable for ....
