Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I was working in a Indian owned firm in dubai and my work permitt is for three years, I have taken in my credit card issued my Barclays Bank dubai. After resession come I was send bank to India on December,2008 . I have my outstanding with credit card. The bank ios now approched me to collect his dues.
I dont have any job over their , Advise me what will I do?

The Dubai Bank can only file a suit against u for collecting their dues in India. If they, instead, harass u through recovery agents, make a complaint to the Police and RBI.

As adviced already in your best interests it is better to settle the issue by asking for time/ repayment discount through a competent local lawyer.
