Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I was in US working on a Visa. I returned back to India in 2006. I still have some of my savings in the USA bank. I can access my bank account online and have my personal check as well. I wanted to know
1. If there is any legal issue , if I try to bring my from USA to India ? Since its 3+ years I've returned, I no longer have NRI status.
2. What is the best option to transfer the money e.g. Deposite US personal check in India bank a/c OR elctronic transfer using online bank a/c OR using services like Remmit2India??

There is no problem in getting your US Deposits transferred to India. As to the cost effective and at the same time swift movement of the deposits, better consult any SBI NRI branch of your locality
You are entitled to deal with your money the way you may like. Any bank in India may facilitate transfer of your funds from USA to India.
