NO.A company cannot be a proprietor in any firm. It has the rights to act as a partner being a juristic person but that does not give the right to own a proprietorship firm. One reason being if this is allowed a company, limited in its objects and activities by its MOA will form numerous proprietorship firms and carry on activities which otherwise may not be permitted.
