Legal Question in Business Law in India
Cheque return
hi,My uncle took a loan from a private firm and provided cheques for repayments.after a few payments the firm bankrupted. Now after some time the firm started working and started to collect the money. my uncle was not aware of it. now one day he got a notice stating that he was charged for cheque bounce. now can u say me,is there any chance to get out. or if there is any charge then what would it be?

Re: Cheque return
simply pay the money
the case can be settled at the cheque amount
Re: Cheque return
Friend, is it not dishonest on the part of your uncle to get out from his liability ? Your uncle should approach the firm and settle the matter.
If a case gets filed, the firm would be more than happy to withdraw the same, if your uncle offers payment.
I hope I have answered your question.
