whether co-ownership of two persons is considered as a 'person' under the law?

No, it is not. Co-ownership is different than even a partnership and not a 'legal person'.
Even a registered partnership is not considered a 'juristic person'.
A 'legal person' can be created only if permitted by the statute, e.g. Companies Act or Cooperative Societies Act and not merely by act of parties or association of persons.
