I would like to know if there are case laws relating to investor protection which have been decided in India

There is no particular Investor protection law seperately. The company laws deal with it comprehensively which includes the minority share holder.

There are no direct case laws touching upon the issue. However, the said issue has been duly addressed under the Statute in the Form of Companies Act and also under the SEBI rules and regulations.
