Legal Question in Business Law in India

I want to form a partnership firm in West Bengal, India. I currently reside in USA; my partners (3) all reside in India.

What is the best way for me to execute the Partnership Deed, without traveling to India? 1) To have a person with power of attorney sign the deed? Or, 2) To have the deed mailed to me for my signature with a witness of a US notary?

If the answer to above question is option 1 - can another partner (in this case my father) do the signature on my behalf?
