Q. Someone has taken over my Company and I want to negotiate with the rival Company's CEO, but I didn't get any sort of notice or any warning before hand. What should I do now ?
A. The Company that takes over your Company acquires all the assets and liabilities of your Company by settlement of the purchase consideration including the present value of Goodwill of your Company. It surprises me how can the takeover happen without your knowledge, when you are the owner of your Company. There is something amiss here.
