Can a person without DIN be appointed a director in a company? Will his appointment be void if he does not have DIN before appointment.

The Company appointing the Director on its Board can simultaneously process the formalities for obtaining the DIN.
The Director's appointment will not be void if he does not have DIN before appointment.

The person will have to get the DIN either himself or the Company will have to apply by obtaining the signature of the concerned person.
