Legal Question in Business Law in India

Power of Attorney

Sir,

My self being a central govt employee , I entered my wife as a partner in a firm. Now the another partner is trying to create problems by filling false petitions in the court and higher offices of administration. Having 2 small daughters I facing difficulties as my wife have to appear before court and other legal instititions every time . My local lawyer made a registered power of attorney in my name so that I can represent my wife in the court after taking leave from the office. But i had a doubt over this if it will back fire on me. Pleae tell whether a PSU Employee can enjoy a Power of attorney of her wife to represent her cases in court/ High courts etc. Because there is every possibility that other party will try his best to disturb my job and familly so that my wife may surrender the firm to him on his terms and conditions.

Thanks;

P.K
