right over property
recently my lawerfriend told me that there is a judgement saying that wife has got right over self acquired property only of her deceased husband and not over the property acquired by inheritance is this correct?she is a hindu is it correct that her children have got right over both the properties?

Well thats not a judgement its law!
Yes, she can inherit the property of her husband (self acquired) as well as ancestral.
Yes the childrens are also entitled.

She may be entitled to inherit entire property of her husband - self acquired as well as ancestral. The , children may also be entitled to inherit both the properties.
