rectification of sale deed

a property was sold.6 out of 5 persons joined in the execution of sale deed.stamp duty was paid for the entire amount. as the saledeed is defective we want to rectifyit the party who was left out is ready to sign now what can be done now?can she register a document saying that she has got her sale consideration earlier through her children/ ?any stampduty necessary?this is in Kerala

You can rectify the sale deed by executing a Deed of Rectification. However, the same needs to be registered

You may go for registration of a sale deed of one share with a token money and mention that the balance money has already been received; you may still need to pay the stamp duty on the value of vendor' share.
