Treatment of unpaid dividend
After the commencement of Companies Amendment Act 1974 a Dividend declared by a Company has to be paid within 30 days of its declaration.The unpaid Dividend has to be transferred to unpaid Dividend Accountwithin 7 days after the expiry of abovesaid period of 30 days.
