X, Y and Z were partners when an infringement of a trademark by the firm took place. X retired and damages arose after dissolution of the firm. Are all partners liable for these damages?

You should refer to relevant provisions of Partnership Act to understand implications of dissolution and damages arising out of transactions prior to dissolution; The terms of dissolution deed are also very important in such cases.
