Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

MySelf Ashok.I am facing a legal civil issue and i am seeking your assistanceDue to the ill health of my father i though of selling my land.One realestate party made agreement with us (dt 17/10/2010) and paid 150000 rs for buying our land and the timeperiod mentioned in the agreement is 9 months.But they never turned up for registration.Now its almost more than 3 years .They filed a caveat petition against us today by mentioning the agreement deed.They are well sound party with support from local politicians and rowdie.sWe are getting threatening calls and they are trying to occupy our land without registration.Could you please suggest the necessary action to be taken from our side to prevent the other party proceedings.Now i am not interested to sell the land as i sold my other assets to get my father cured and this land is the only assest left to me.Please do help me sir by providing ur suggestions.

One needs to read the Agreement. Prima-facie it appears to be barred claim of the buyer, as they did noting to complete the transaction within the stipulated time of nine months.
