Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

My batchelor maternal uncle acquired a ancestorial property by virtue of family settlement deed. On his death my grandmother became the legal heir for him by virtue of heirship certificate acquired from thasildhar. Later my grandmother gifted the property to me by virtue of registered gift settlement deed on 7-1-1999.

Now my another uncle who is younger to him claims that he is also one of the heir to his brother and claims half share in the above property.

Please clarify whether he has a right to do so?

Yes, he may be entitled to a share in his brother's property alongwith his sister. The so called heirship certificate issued by Tehsildar in the name of your grandmother may be invalid.
