Call threatening

Can you tell me what kind of actions that can be taken against threatening and harrasment phone calls?

If someone calls and threathens you, what kind of charges can be placed against him in India?

Threatening and harrasment phone calls are criminal act in India and whoever cause threat shall be punished witn imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.

Whoever commits the offence of criminal intimidation by an annonymous communication, or having taken precaution to conceal the name or abode of the person from whom the threat comes, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, in addition to the punishment provided for the offence by the last precedingt section

Whoever commits the threat (Criminal Intimidation) will be charge U/Sec 506 of IPC.

Whoever commits the criminal intimidation anonymous communication will be charge U/sec 507 of IPC
