Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

change of

I have my name as ''Harisha A'' in my SSLC certificate, but I have used ''A--name removed---name removed-- in employment (to include PAN, PF, ESI), driver's licence, LIC policy, mutual fund, and vehicle RC. Now, I want to change it to ''Harisha A.''

I am also planning to apply for Passport.

Please advise

Re: change of

since you have changed the names in most of the important documents it is necessary that you give a paper publication of the name chage and also include A.... (name) and (name)...A is of the same person. decided what name you want to be called and get it changed in all you documents!

gazattee publication is a must!

consult a lawyer in person!

Re: change of

due to the type of question the names removal has made this question little bit confusing.

anyway for any name change you have to get a notice published in the newspapers.
