change of lawyer in high court
if we want to change a lawyer than can we do it directly or is there any legal formality ?

You may better seek no objection from your already engaged lawyer.

you need to obtain an NOC from the previous lawyer that all his dues have been settled by you.

For changing a lawyer you need to obtain an N.O.C from your previous lawyer to the effect that you have settled all the dues towards him till date and then you can submit the N.O.C alongwith the wakalatnama of the new advocate in the court.
