You have to first issue legal notice to CIBIL and the respective banks informing about the irregularities in the CIBIL entries. If they refuse to take action, appropriate case can be filed in the court to direct the banks and CIBIL to remove entries.

If you want cheapest and fastest way log on to web site of Moneywise magazine they conducted a seminar - few days back about credit rating agency and poor credit scores. Your report from CIBIL will be showing your identity details; like Passport, PAN card etc.; how did it go to third party? You should be careful with such data also.

Write to each bank first, identify the address, telephone number etc. details to whom they issued the card; who impersonated you.

The Banks also may cooperate with you, as they would not like a fraud to go on.
