Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
claim of my In-Laws on Property
My husband expired in a accident, we had built a house by taking loan from his office. Now, since my husband is no more, i have transferred the property in my name. I have a daughter who is about 8 years, but my mother-in-law claims a share in this property. Do they have any rights on the property? kindly tell me what has to be done?

Re: claim of my In-Laws on Property
Mother is a Class-I heir alongwith widow of the deceased. Therefore, your mother-in-law is entitled to one third share in the property; alongwith you and your daughter.
