Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

clubbing of different suits

sir, i had instituted different suits against the same defendants for different reliefs. The first suit was filed in the court of Senior Civil Judge and next suit into the court of District Judge. I want to club the two different suits into a single suit and please advice me with regard to the section or provision under CPC wherein i need to follow the appropriate steps for clubbing of the two suits into one suit or least by transferring one suit into the court of another where the second suit is pending?

Re: clubbing of different suits

Two cases of similar nature can be jointed together if they are filed in similar nature of courts. Original suit is filed in the Court of Senior Civil Judge whereas Jurisdiction of District Judge is Appellate. These two suits cannot be consolidated. Petition is made under section 151 of the CPC in the Court of District Judge.

Re: clubbing of different suits

The jurisdiction of the court of a Senior Civil Judge is different than that of the court a District Judge.

You may explain the nature of suits so that appropriate guidance can be provided.
