Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Is a cooperative housing society (in Pune, Maharashtra, India) obliged to allow individuals to install solar water heating systems on common terrace of a cooperative housing society without charging anything, even though a decision to levy a charge was passed in an AGM ? (I am not sure about the category of the law, since there is no provision to select "Cooperative Housing Society") in the selection.

If the general body meeting decides to levy charge, it can do so as the terrace is the common property of all tenants of the society and society needs funds to upkeep it
