Dear Sir

Greetings and my name is Chandrasekar, i have a question in ancestral property. My Grandfather's father had purchased land long back. That land was sub divided between my grand father and my grand father's elder brother long back.That original document is available with us. Now my grand father likes to gift me that land, please tell us whether my grand father's daughters(2 Aunty) have the right on that property

Grand father have 1 son (my father) and two daughters.

This is your Grand father self acquired property and he can will or gift his property to any one and no one else can claim or challenge the same. Your Grand father can legally gift the property to you and your auntys legally cannot ask for any share in it.

in case your grand father acquired the same after partition, he has all the rights to gift it to you.
