Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
dear Sir,I am married into a family where my husband is the only son,his elder sister has been married and is happy and well to do for the past 10 yrs she has two sons. my father in law passed away 2 years ago,mother in law is still alive and is working.father in law has both ancestral and self acquired properties and has not made a will before death.i want to know what rights does my mom in law have over the property,what are my husbands rights,and what are my sister in laws rights?? I have a 4 yr old son as well,does he have any rights over his grandfathers property?and do my sister in laws sons have a right on my father in laws property?If yes kindly state the percentage in each case and kindly guide us on these matters.thank you,awaiting ur reply eagerly ,

Your husband ,your mother-inlaw and your sister-inlaw have 1/3rd share of your father-inlaws property . Your son has no right in the property as of now.
