Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Dear Sir
I Wanted to to file Domestic Voilance Act Case against my Father in law who is currently residing with his mistress and his sons ( My father in law has two sons from his mistress also) in town and we are currently residing in village and most of our property has already been sold by My father in law. I am 100% confirm that in mistress property my father in law has also invested his own money and taken the property in the name of the mistress and his sons to avoid the future disputes.
My Father in law has denied having any relationship with my mother in law and my husband and he has sold all his ancestoral property and home also at which ( Home) we are currently staying by the R.O. in favour of my mother in law ( my mother in law has also filed Domestic voilance Act case against my father in law and got the R.O. in her favour till the disposal of this case )
I just wanted to ask can i file the DV Act case claiming R.O. in my favour at the property of the mistress where my father resides these days.

You can certainly file for R.O but it is up to court to decide how and in which property it gives you R.O. Moreover, produce all the documents which you have to show that your FIL has kept a mistress while he ihas his first wife alive. That would itself go against him in D.V.Act.
