Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Dear Sir,

My self Abdul Sattar resident of N-38/A, 101 CD Park, Jahangirpuri, Delhi-33, was beaten by neighbour ( Nadeem S/O Shameem) on Friday 4/5/2012 time 1.30 P.M., I called to No. 100 police came and admit mr in hospital. Doctors diagnosed fracture in nose bone. After all about 14 days has passed local police did not lodged FIR. Whenever I ask for a copy of FIR they say �MLC is awaited from hospital. I went to hospital and asked about MLC Doctors say we have submitted in police station. We submit it with 48 hours .

Kindly help me to lodge FIR .

in case the MLC is already sent to the police station, you may meet the SHO and ask for registration of FIR based on MLC. in case of reluctance, you may file a private complaint before the Magistrate, Jahangirpuri.
